Road Racing Cyclist, 7 time Tour de France Champion, Cancer Survivor. Although years apart, Lance and my Pop had the same form of Cancer. What started as a testicular tumor in both, Lance's tumor metastasized into his brain, lungs, and abdomen. My pops metastasized into his left kidney, and right lung. Both underwent numerous surgeries and extensive chemotherapy. After they were in complete remission, Lance went on to win seven Tour de France races, and Poppa ran two full marathons (of his seven total). Lance and my Poppa are two of my all time favorite athletes!
