Coach Sid Lansberry Drawing

My good friend Coach and Author Jeff Potter recently commissioned me to do a drawing of another friend of his Coach Sid Lansberry. Coach Sid is the Baseball Coach for the Clearfield Bison High School team in Clearfield PA. I had already started the drawing and Coach Potter contacted me and told me that Coach Sid was very close to 600 wins in his coaching career. I started thinking about the composition of the drawing, and how to incorporate the information about his 600th win into the drawing when that happened. I came up with the ball and engraved bat idea. On May 17, 2017 Coach Sid got his 600th win, and I finished the drawing. 

CONGRATS to Coach Sid, and Thank You to Coach Jeff for always supporting my artwork, and mentoring me in the wonderful game of Baseball.

Washington Capitals Practice May 5,2017

Despite being down 3 games to 1 in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, on May 5, Jacob skipped a day of school and we went to Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington Va. to see the Caps practice.

After practice, we waited in the designated area for fans to see the players to exit the locker room. I had my Braden Holtby drawing with me. When he came out, he spent time with every person that was there and signed autographs and posed for pictures.

Adam Jones 2- 2017

Adam Jones is the Center Fielder for the Baltimore Orioles. Everyone knows that I bleed Black and Orange unless my guys put on the Red White and Blue to play for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic. Adam did just that. As of this posting, they are in the Semi-Finals in Los Angeles.

This is the second drawing that I have done of Louise. She is a professional Body Builder from England who completes in the Pro Figure division. I did this drawing just before she left for Australia to complete in the 2017 Arnold Classic Australia.

Christian is the Son of my best friend Alberto. Christian and my youngest Son Jacob played baseball together a couple years ago. Alberto and I coached the team. Alberto also coaches Navy Youth Hockey who Christian is playing for this season. This drawing is 11x14, and the hockey puck is actual size (1"x3")
