Oksana is a Russian born former Gymnast, and current professional fitness competitor. In 2014 Oksana won the IFBB Olympia Fitness Division, she also won the 2014 Arnold Classic Fitness Division. This past Friday night, she defended her title and for the second year in a row won the 2015 Arnold Classic Fitness Division. I started this drawing on Friday during the day, and finished it during the evening watching the fitness competition. Shortly after Okana won, I posted the picture to Twitter. That same night, Oksana favorited the drawing. The face makeup in the drawing was from the 2013 Arnold Classic Europe and her "Joker" routine.

Isabelle is an IFBB Professional Womans Body Builder. Isabelle was one of the first Female Body Builders that I became a fan of. Recently she followed me on Twitter, and I did this drawing for her. She is in the process of getting back into competition shape, and hopes to take the stage this season.

Here is my second drawing of Aleesha Young. While I was doing the drawing, I wanted to add a flower to the top left of the drawing. I thought it would be nice compositionally, as well as add to the artistry and contrast of a woman who is as beautiful, but as hard as Aleesha. I asked her what her favorite flower is, fully expecting her to say something like a rose or hibiscus. Instead she said Strelitzia. I couldn't have liked the choice more, and after doing a preliminary sketch of the flower, added it to the final drawing. I think her reaction to it is the only, and best reaction that I could hope for!

Aleesha is a professional womens bodybuilder in the heavyweight division. In 2014 she competed in the NPC USA Championships and won the Womens Heavyweight Division, as well as being named the Womens Overall Champion. Two weeks later, she competed in the IFBB Tampa Pro where she placed ninth. She is also the Mother of a little girl.

In this drawing, I combined her face and hair from her Twitter profile picture, and the body from a Tampa Pro posing picture.

Max is a starting pitcher for the Washington Nationals. He has also played for the Arizona Diamonbacks, and the Detroit Tigers. In 2013 he won the American League Cy Young Award.In 2014 he was tied with two others for the most wins in the AL with 18. 

Yesterday afternoon he was signed by the Nationals, and by this morning I posted on Twitter this drawing of him pitching for the Nats. The Nationals retweeted my post to 234 thousand followers!

The Angela Salvagno Drawing

My son Joshua has been trying to convince me to embrace social media and put Bardsley Sports Art  on Twitter. About ten days ago and did so. One of my first Tweets was my Angela Salvagno Drawing originally posted here Nov.5,2013.

Not only did she favorite it, she replied, and retweeted it to over 30 thousand followers. It also got favorited and posted on www.blog.musclegirltalk.com.
